Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group modular system featured in Combined Heat and Power video
Energy Solutions Center consortium releases educational videos on CHP
Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group, LLC’s Aegen Thermo Power modular units have been featured in a video released on the Combined Heat and Power informational website www.understandingCHP.com/
Produced by Energy Solutions Center, a consortium of energy professionals who are actively promoting
cogeneration, the video titled “What is Combined Heat and Power?” provides an overview of CHP. The video explains how the application of the technology can result in significant energy savings and have substantial environmental benefits.
Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group is a full service Combined Heat and Power developer that utilizes modular systems to reduce both energy costs and emissions for a variety of facilities, from healthcare and assisted living facilities, to recreational and multi-residential complexes, and hotels. There are also institutional, educational, and industrial facility applications, all of which are addressed in the six minute video.
The Aegen Thermo Power units are featured at two specific points in the video. First, the modular units are highlighted during a discussion of energy savings, specifically how CHP systems that are powered by low-cost natural gas, such as the ones developed by Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group, have allowed building and industry owners in the U.S. to save over $5 billion annually.
The modular units are again featured as an example of overcoming difficult installation challenges through modular, customized systems. The modular approach adapted by Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group, provides for seamless installation of Combined Heat and Power systems.
The Energy Solutions Center recently produced the Technology and Market Assessment forum in Philadelphia, with Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group, presenting a seminar on Combined Heat and Power.
