Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group, LLC works with AdLab to develop visual campaigns
Renowned student-run program delivers print and video marketing pieces for Combined Heat and Power industry
With the help of Boston University’s AdLab, Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group has created two new marketing pieces for the Combined Heat and Power industry.
AdLab is the largest, full-service, student-run ad agency in the nation. Led by BU student Anne Esber, the group developed an “illusion ad” graphic for the print campaign that features an old-fashioned radiator embedded with cylindrical batteries to represent Combined Heat and Power.
Illusion graphics are widely used in modern advertising to attract attention and create lingering impressions. The print ad is available in this current newsletter and will be utilized in other publications as part of an overall marketing strategy.

For its video campaign, the AdLab group interviewed Scot Hopps, Director of Sustainability for the Saunders Hotel Group who provided a positive review of the Combined Heat and Power system installed at the Comfort Inn & Suites at Logan International Airport.
The video is currently being edited for final release.
“We enjoyed the opportunity to mentor the BU students during this process,” said Dale Desmarais, Director of Sales and Marketing for Dalkia Aegis, EDF Group. “There is tremendous value for both our company and the BU program in developing real-world applications in the classroom.”
Established in 1975 by four Boston University students, AdLab has grown to an agency of over 100 students, led by a hand-picked executive board and two industry veterans. AdLab provides BU students the opportunity to create real work for real clients and guarantees clients cutting-edge creative, effective advertising work.
