Aegis Energy, EDF Group, LLC promotes Combined Heat and Power through social media campaign
Social media endeavor aims to push the marketing envelope within the Combined Heat and Power industry.
Aegis Energy, EDF Group, LLC has released a new series of marketing materials aimed at highlighting the documented cost-savings associated with the company’s Combined Heat and Power systems.
Combined Heat and Power (CHP), also known as cogeneration, is an efficient, clean, and reliable technology which simultaneously generates electricity and thermal energy from a single fuel source. By installing a CHP system designed to meet the thermal and electrical base loads of a facility, CHP can greatly increase the facility’s operational efficiency and decrease energy costs.
Founded in 1985, Aegis Energy, EDF Group is a full service Combined Heat and Power developer and installer that utilizes modular systems to reduce both energy costs and emissions for a variety of facilities, from healthcare and assisted living facilities, to recreational and multi-residential complexes, and hotels. There are also institutional, educational, and industrial facility applications.
The campaign is based on a series of conceptual internet memes that highlight the savings associated with CHP systems. The campaign uses an edgy humor not often associated with the industry to depict the missed opportunities for those who are not exploring the value of CHP for their facilities.
“Aegis Energy, EDF Group has proven its Combined Heat and Power systems can save tens of thousands of dollars in energy costs annually for its clients,” said Dale Desmarais, Director of Sales and Marketing for Aegis. “The goal is to inspire building owners and facility managers to explore the value of a CHP system for their facility.”
The ideas were developed by the Aegis sales and marketing team during a series of brainstorming events. The best ideas were then
developed into the campaign.
The messages will be released monthly through social media outlets and through Aegis’ monthly email newsletter. The images can be viewed beginning Feb. 28, 2014 at facebook.com/AegisEnergy.
