In 1985, few companies were as forward-thinking as Dalkia Aegis. While the idea of energy conservation was primarily an emerging concept, Dalkia Aegis was a champion for change. Since pioneering green Combined Heat & Power (CHP) technology, we’ve celebrated nearly 1,000 system installations in the United States, all the while helping clients save on energy costs while dramatically reducing emissions. Our intent: to serve as a role model for those who can effect change—end-users who, when educated, will choose greener energy options, and property owners with the ability to make these green energy choices.

Of course, our first passion has been CHP, but we understand and embrace technologies that work in tandem. We recognize that oftentimes a coordinated approach is needed for the most efficient and effective results. To this end, and to further demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and our community, we’ve delved into solar, working within the city of Holyoke, Massachusetts, to preserve a portion of a former paper mill and create a solar farm on the remaining acreage. The generated electricity benefits tenants of the local housing authority, a vulnerable population of the community.
